Join The Handful as it journeys across the globe, through Advent to Christmas.
This festive programme centres around two major works that both depict colourful scenes from the nativity story: four movements from Ringeltänze by Libby Larsen, written in 1983, and Quatre motets pour le temps de Noël written by Francis Poulenc in 1951-52.
The concert will also feature choral favourites together with some wonderful new discoveries (fast becoming a feature of Handful programmes!) by a diverse cross-section of composers from the UK to the USA, from Europe to Africa, and from the 16th century to the present day.
The Handful is delighted to be joined by the talented music students of Prior Park College for this concert as part of its ongoing commitment to working with young musicians in the local community.
